Beautiful Gate Friends Service

Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa (SDSS), meaning “Beautiful Gate Friends Service,” is a compassionate organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families marginalized by disability, illness, poverty, or crisis. Since 2008, SDSS has been working to restore fullness of life through holistic programs in health, rehabilitation, education, and disaster relief.

Whenever we become aware of the needs of underprivileged or vulnerable people, we respond with creativity and compassion—developing inclusive initiatives that promote dignity, empowerment, and equal opportunity for all, regardless of physical ability, caste, or religion. Together, we strive to build communities where everyone can live with hope and wholeness.

We do not merely respond to visible needs — we proactively identify and reach those whose challenges often remain unseen. Through strategic outreach and community engagement, we strive to uncover and address hidden barriers, ensuring that essential support and opportunities extend to even the most overlooked individuals and families.

Our work often functions as a bridge. We link resourcing partners sharing our purpose and proven abilities to opportunities that generate fullness of life for those in need.

Our strategy at SDSS Nepal connects those with needs and those with resources   to one another through our compassion-filled Themes of Care

Together

  • we make a lasting difference

  • we restore lives

  • we make an impact for good
